CRC Rust Converter 5L – 3075

CRC Rust Converter is a unique fast drying coating formulated for treatment of lightly rusted or correctly prepared metal surfaces. CRC Rust Converter neutralises rust and converts it to a tough black primer in one easy step. It binds to the surface and provides a waterproof barrier by sealing out moisture and other outside elements for effective long-lasting rust protection. No more sandblasting, heavy scraping, or grinding.

Applications:
1. Apply only when temperatures are between 10C and 32C.
2. Remove dirt, grease, oil and other contaminants.
3. Remove blistered or loose or heavy rust scale with a scraper or mechanical sander.
4. Use of rubber gloves is recommended.
5. Mix or shake well before using.
6. Pour estimated amount needed into a clean container. Material cannot be returned to original container after use.
7. For maximum penetration, work CRC Rust Converter into rusted surfaces with a synthetic bristle brush. For large areas, use a roller or sprayer.
8. Minimum 12 hours cure time before painting. Overcoat with an enamel topcoat for best results. If using a water-based topcoat use a stain-blocking primer to avoid staining.
9. Clean all painting equipment immediately after use with cold water.
10. Protect CRC Rust Converter from freezing in the container. Store above 5C.
